CLARE PRENTON

Clare is highly experienced in project design, facilitation and delivery of high quality participatory arts projects  and outreach with people from ages 3 to adult.  Past projects include work in mental health and suicide prevention with a project with ANDYS MAN CLUB UK (#ANDYSMANCLUBPLAY) and the Scottish Mens' Sheds (leading to a new play MEN DON'T TALK). 

 

Motherhood Special - a theatre/film writing project  was written with young mothers in Edinburgh for Stellar Quines Theatre Company. 

 

For Eastgate Theatre, Peebles and Creative Peebles Festival, Clare created a reminiscence project called "Magic Moments'.  Working with older residents, across three residential settings, workshops evolved into 21 dramatic scenes entitled 'The Memory Jar'. Inspired by their stories, scenes were performed to participants and their friends and family, by professional actors.
